Pilates classes at Healthflex are sixty minute sessions that build strength through your core, hips and shoulders, improve control and help you move with more confidence. Because they run inside a physiotherapy clinic, they suit people coming back from injury as well as those who simply want to feel stronger.

## What happens in a class

Each class works through controlled exercises focused on breathing, posture and steady, deliberate movement. Exercises can be made easier or harder, so you work at a level that is right for your body on the day.

## Who Pilates helps

Pilates is often recommended alongside physiotherapy for back pain, recovery after injury and general strength as we get older. If you are currently being treated for a condition, mention it when you book so we can make sure the class is a good fit.
