Martin qualified from the Cardiff School of Physiotherapy in 1988 and for the next five years, gained experience in the NHS and Canada before he moved in to private practice. He specialises in musculo-skeletal care and sports injuries with particular interests in tennis, golf and skiing. He has been a physiotherapist attending the players at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships since 1990 as well as being involved with South-East and British Athletics in the past. His own sporting interests include tennis, golf and skiing.
