Reflexology and Indian head massage

Some appointments are about fixing something. These are about giving you an hour where nothing is asked of you. Helen Blakeley offers clinical reflexology and Indian head massage at The Edge in Haslemere every Thursday morning, as calm, hands on complementary therapies that sit alongside the rest of your care rather than replacing it.

More information

Which one is right for you?

Reflexology works through the feet. You lie back, fully supported, while Helen uses gentle, focused pressure across the feet for around an hour. Most people find it deeply relaxing, and plenty fall asleep.

Indian head massage is a seated treatment that works through the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. You stay fully clothed, and it suits anyone who carries their stress in their shoulders and jaw or spends long days at a desk.

If you cannot choose, you do not have to. The combined appointment gives you both in seventy five minutes.

Fees

Reflexology is £60 for sixty minutes. Indian head massage is £60 for sixty minutes. Reflexology and Indian head massage together is £80 for seventy five minutes.

About Helen

Helen holds a Level 5 Practitioner's Diploma in Clinical Reflexology and is a member of the Association of Reflexologists, the professional body for reflexology in the UK. She trained in Indian head massage through CPD with Ziggie Bergman, and she also gives her time as a volunteer reflexologist for staff at University College London Hospitals.

What these treatments are, and are not

Reflexology and Indian head massage are complementary therapies. People come to them to relax, to unwind and to feel looked after, and that is what we offer them for. They do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and they are not a substitute for seeing your GP or one of our physiotherapists. If you are pregnant, having treatment for a medical condition or unsure whether either therapy suits you, mention it when you book and Helen will talk it through with you first.

When and where

Helen's clinic runs on Thursday mornings from 9am to 1pm at The Edge, Woolmer Hill Road, Haslemere, GU27 1QB. Appointments are booked by phone with our reception team for now.
