Stopping smoking is the change most people have already tried to make more than once, which is precisely why willpower on its own is rarely the missing ingredient. Hypnotherapy for smoking is aimed at the habit and the automatic reaching for it rather than at persuading you that smoking is bad for you, which you already know.
Richard Morley is an approved therapist for the National Smoking Cessation Institute. Sessions are face to face at the clinic in Haslemere, and the fee is £200.

How many sessions
Usually one longer session, sometimes with a single follow up. That is deliberate. A course of appointments to stop smoking tends to become a course of appointments about stopping smoking.
Does it work
That depends on the person and on how ready you are, and anybody promising a guaranteed result is overselling. What we will tell you honestly is what the session involves, what is realistic, and how you will know within a fortnight whether it has worked.
Use the NHS as well, not instead
This is worth saying plainly even though it is not in our commercial interest. NHS stop smoking services are free, evidence based and effective, and combining behavioural support with licensed medication or nicotine replacement has the strongest evidence behind it of anything available. Using an NHS service alongside a hypnotherapy session is entirely sensible rather than a contradiction, and we would rather you stopped smoking by whatever route works than that you bought something from us.
If you want to look at what is available locally first, your GP surgery or the NHS website will point you to it.
