Imogen is an experienced physiotherapist specialising in rehabilitation and physical performance. Her experience extends beyond the clinic. Imogen has worked internationally supporting runners competing in multi-stage ultramarathons, which has given her first-hand application of physio techniques for race day and the optimal preparation needed to get you to the race start injury-free, and following injury recovery. She understands the demands of endurance sport and, as an ultramarathon runner herself, the athlete's perspective as well as the clinical one.
Imogen has spent time in professional football, working at a Premier League club's training ground and gaining insight into the high-performance approach to injury assessment, rehabilitation and return to sport.
More information
Imogen's skills are unique. Alongside her sporting experience, Imogen has a background as a neuro physio working in London teaching hospitals, leading clinical teams specialising in stroke and neurology. In addition, she has worked at the MS Society, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and a government research funding body. She understands the importance of evidence-based practice and advocates for the viewpoint of the person with a health condition.
She uses a combination of hands-on techniques and movement analysis to ensure optimal recovery.
Whether you are dealing with a new injury, struggling with a persistent problem, returning to sport or function after surgery or injury, or simply want to perform at your best, Imogen takes a personalised approach to understanding what is holding you back and building a clear plan to move you forward.
Her aim is simple: to help you understand your problem, regain confidence in your body and get back to doing what matters to you.
