Anneke treats musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, and she is one of the reasons Healthflex can offer neurological rehabilitation properly rather than in name only. She has worked across orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, respiratory and neurological care.
Background
Anneke graduated with a sport science degree in 1993 and a physiotherapy degree in 1997, both from universities in South Africa. She worked in private practice and a private hospital there for a year before coming to the United Kingdom, where she has worked in a range of NHS and private hospitals. From 2002 to 2009 she led the physiotherapy department at a brain injury rehabilitation centre in London. She is a chartered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Outside the clinic
Anneke runs and swims, which tends to make her sympathetic to patients who are impatient to get back to training.
